    The second stanza you show above for a Thanksgiving prayer was not written by Ralph Waldo Emerson. It’s pretty and flows with the rest but if you look into you’ll find that Emerson did not write it. No one knows who did. If you do a little research on Emerson you will also find that he became a Transcedentalist, really wasn’t Christian which is why I questioned the Heavenly Father reference.
